Fred M. Harmison

Fred Morgan Harmison, 88, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at City Hospital.

Born June 6, 1924 in Cherry Run, he was the son of the late Frank C. Harmison and Hazel Collier Harmison.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel V. Ambrose Harmison; one son, Fred M. Harmison II; two brothers, Frank Harmison and John “Jack” Harmison and one sister, Druella Harmison Nelson.

He is survived by one daughter, Sherri H. Jackson, Shepherdstown; one brother, Carlton C. Harmison, Ravenswood; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
