Lawrence R. Arbaugh
Lawrence Raymond Arbaugh, 71, of Great Cacapon, died Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born October 18, 1940 in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of the late Marvin and Yvetta Arbaugh.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was a dockworker with Teamsters Local #639 in Baltimore, retiring from Yellow Freight Company in 2000.
He was a former drummer with the “Papa Bears” in Baltimore and played with the Righteous Brothers in California.
He was a nature and animal lover.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle Louise Arbaugh; two daughers, Christine Butler, Tampa, Fla. and Melody Arbaugh, Baltimore; two sons, Stephen Eberhardinger, Baltimore and Mark Eberhardinger, York, Pa.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Bosley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 20 at Lemmon Funeral Home, 10 W. Padonia Road, Timonium, Md. Burial will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium. Friends will be received at the Lemmon Funeral Home Thursday, July 19, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
