Donna J. Decker

Donna Jean Decker, 75, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at War Memorial Hospital.

Born May 10, 1937 in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Lee Alonza and Rosalie Lafolette Beddow.
She was a member of Word of Deliverance Church.

She was a seamstress for Sagner in McConnellsburg, Pa. and a seamstress for London Fog in Hancock.
In recent years she worked at Valley View Nursing Home and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Forest C. Decker at home; three sons, Michael L. Beddow, Martinsburg, Dennis E. Beddow, Berkeley Springs and David J. Golden, Inwood; two sisters, Phyllis Jackson, Berkeley Springs and Patty Nolan, Frederick, Md.; three brothers, Ronald Harvey Beddow, Berkeley Springs, Gary Wayne Beddow, Hedgesville and James R. Beddow, Waldorf, Md.; three grandsons, David Golden, Jr., Mark Beddow and Ethan Beddow; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Terry A. Golden; one grandson, Mitch Beddow; two sisters, Lola Stanley and Marna Apple, one infant sister and one infant brother.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 14 at Word of Deliverance Church, Berkeley Springs, with Pastor Jack Hiles, Jr. and Rev. Jimmy Murray officiating. Burial was in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery.

The Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs handled the arrangements.
