Irish Road Bowling season is here
The Irish Road Bowling season is here and started in Ireland, WV on St. Pat’s Day, March 17.
With 18 games this season, played in all of West Virginia, only two are in the Eastern Panhandle.
Meet at Cacapon State Resort Park on Saturday, July 28, at the Nature Center by 10:30 a.m. Match begins at 11 a.m.
This match is hosted by the Morgan County Fair which is the following weekend.
The course is a 1.5 mile shaded walk, making it an exercise for the whole family.
For this event all participants will meet at the Nature Center and be transported to the Start Line and brought back from the Finish Line by a hayride provided by Lynn Dunham.
The second match in the Eastern Panhandle will be in Shepherdstown on Sunday September 9.
Both matches will be held rain or shine.
