Nice time in Paw Paw

I am an alumni of Paw Paw High School class of 1957, and attended the events a few weeks ago after not having attended for a long time.

As I viewed the parade, I recognized all the tireless efforts of volunteerism that went into planning the events. When Paw Paw High School band passed by, they looked so exquisite in their uniforms and they performed flawlessly. Witnessing this made me feel much pride in my school and hometown.

Later in the evening, I attended the banquet for the alumni. It was a wonderful time visiting with many I had not seen for a long time. The meal was superb and the fellowship sweet. The tribute that was given by Gary Kidwell to my brother Butch Kerns, Tommy Malcom and Dailey Rockwell was touching.

I just wanted to express my appreciation for those who gave of their time and efforts when life is so busy.
