Geneive Fredman

Geneive “Genny” Fredman, 82, of Paw Paw, died Monday, June 4, 2012 at her home.

She was born October 27, 1929 at Romney, the daughter of the late Charles Likens and Vivian Blackburn Likens.

She was a retired seamstress and a member of the Woodrow Union Christian Church.

On March 17, 1951, she married James Fredrick Fredman, who preceded her in death on October 13, 2009.

Surviving are one daughter, Vivian Deetz, Short Gap; three sons, James F. Fredman, Jr., Short Gap, George “Mike” Fredman, Paw Paw and Steven M. Fredman, Inwood; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 7, at the Woodrow Union Christian Church, Paw Paw, with Barney Piper officiating.

Burial was at the Woodrow Cemetery.
