Relay For Life this Friday
Relay For Life of Morgan County will be held this Friday, June 8-Saturday, June 9 at Widmyer track in Berkeley Springs, from 6 p.m.-6 a.m.
“The event promises to be full of entertainment, food, games and an evening of helping those who have been affected by cancer to celebrate more birthdays, and to remember those who have succumbed to this terrible disease,” said Jo Ann Blankley, event chair.
“Paint The Town Purple” has been in place since June 1 and will run up until the Relay event. Relay teams in cooperation with businesses are decorating their store windows.
Businesses will be judged in three categories: most related to cancer, most related to theme (“Toon Out Cancer”), and best use of purple.
Any business that has not been contacted by a Relay team member may still participate, but should inform any Relay team participant so that their business may be included in the judging.
