Betty L. Hedmond

Betty L. Hedmond, 79 of Steubenville, Ohio died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Trinity West.

She was born January 31, 1933 in Berkeley Springs, the daughter of the late Renard and Viola Walls Perry.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hedmond; son, David Hedmond and two brothers, Roy and James Perry.

She was a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church and was retired from Jefferson County Children Services as the human resource manager.

Surviving are three sons, Robert L. II and Matthew âChipã Hedmond, both of Steubenville and John Hedmond, Westerville, Ohio; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville handled the arrangements.

A funeral liturgy with mass was celebrated Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Bradley Greer, celebrant. There was a vigil service Sunday. Burial in Union Cemetery.
