Vicki F. Hook
Vicki Frances Blanche Hook, 65, of Martinsburg, WV, died, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at her residence while under the care of the Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born on July 20, 1946 in Sydney, Australia, she was a daughter of the late Theo Worth Clem and Bessie Pauline (Scott) Clem. She also was preceded in death by an infant sister.
She was a parishioner at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Martinsburg and was a member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter.
She collected baseball cards and coins.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, John A. Hook; one daughter, Victoria B. Knipple; one son, John F.S. Hook; five grandchildren, William P.F. “Frankie” Hook, David R. Knipple, Lucretia P. Knipple, Haleigh L. Hook and Skylar P. Hook; one great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, May 31 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Romney, with Father Joseph Augustine as celebrant. Interment in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Points. A memorial Mass was celebrated Tuesday, June 5 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Martinsburg.
