Hey, Girlfriend weekend

For more than a decade, Berkeley Springs has celebrated its position as the girlie capital of West Virginia with the exuberant “Hey, Girlfriend” weekend. Art sales on the street, wine tastings, an Afican art show, tattoos and dance are a few of the events on June 1, 2 and 3. "The hot trend of women traveling together is old news here. That's why this year marks the 11th time that we've gone all out to celebrate the sisters, cousins, college roommates and carpooling moms who need time away with just the girls," says Jeanne Mozier, vice president of Travel Berkeley Springs, the local travel council that promotes this event.
