Paw Paw Valedictorian, Salutatorian

Ethan Holliday was named the Valedictorian for Paw Paw High School Class of 2012.

He is the son of David and Lisa Holliday of Paw Paw.

During his high school career, he was in the National Honor Society. He was on the basketball, baseball and cross country teams and Pirate Band.

He is a member of the Paw Paw Church of Christ and the Youth Group.
He attended Allegany College of Maryland in his senior year.

He will attend Marshall University in the Fall of 2012 in the pre-physical therapy program.

Rebecca Dawn Leach is the Salutatorian for the 2012 class.

She is the daughter of David and Nellie Leach of Great Cacapon.

She participated in many activities during high school including varsity basketball, varsity volleyball and marching band. She was inducted into the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society.

She had the experience of traveling to Brazil on two mission trips.

She attended James Rumsey Technical Institute to study in the Health Occupations Program. Through job shadowing and clinical experience she was able to learn about the veterinarian field.

She will continue her education at West Virginia University with a Major in Animal and Nutritional Sciences where she will pursue her goal to become a large or exotic animal veterinarian.

She will also be participating in WVU’s marching band.

She plans to continue doing short term mission work in her future.
