William O. Carbaugh, Jr.
William Oscar “Bill” Carbaugh, Sr., 60, of Berkeley Springs, died on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born May 30, 1951 in Morgan County, he was the son of the late William Tobias and Violet Hattie Catherine Vanorsdale Carbaugh.
He had attended Wesleyan Chapel in Berkeley Springs.
He attended public schools in Morgan County and retired as a masseur with the Berkeley Springs State Park Bath House.
He liked crafts, artwork, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Gale Alice Stotler Carbaugh, at home; one son, William Ronnie Carbaugh and one daughter, Nancy Irene Catherine Carbaugh, both of Berkeley Springs; five grandchildren, Brandy Lynn Carbaugh, Elizabeth Lynn Marie Carbaugh, Shanta Hattie Alice Carbaugh, Faith Natasha Carbaugh and Rochelle Cruise Carbaugh, all of Berkeley Springs and two nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Bernard Ray Carbaugh.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 17 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, with Pastor Dave Kidwell officiating. Interment will be private.
