Doris A. Snyder

Doris A. “Jean” Snyder, 76, of Paw Paw, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Berkeley Springs Rehabilitation & Nursing.

She was born October 14, 1935 at Paw Paw and was the daughter of the late Charles Daniel Arnica and Alma Ruth Hoover Arnica.

A 1953 graduate of Paw Paw High School, she had worked at ABEX and Federal Mogul in Winchester, Va. and was a member of the Woodrow Union Christian Church.

In 1957, she married Robert E. Snyder, who preceded her in death October 7, 1997.

She is survived by three sons, Dale Robin Snyder, Hedgesville, Darrell Robert Snyder and Charles Eugene Snyder, both of Largent; one brother, Darrell Arnica, Paw Paw; four grandchildren, Daniel, Alivia, Jacob and Sara Snyder and one great-grandson.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 5, at the Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw, with Eldridge Kerns officiating. Burial was at Camp Hill Cemetery at Paw Paw.
