Route 9 kennels are cruel

Dear Editor:

Why do Commissioners Brad Close and Stacy Dugan not understand that the conditions of their kennels on Route 9 are cruel and inhumane?

Keeping dogs of any size in 3 1/2’x5’ cages is animal cruelty. Period.

Taking a 130 pound dog that has been abused and putting it in a kennel that size is even worse.
