Town needs the Country Inn

Dear Editor:

I would like to know why The Morgan Messenger and this town feel it necessary to slam The Country Inn, my employer, every chance it gets?

I have heard from some merchants that the town looks to the Inn to bring in tourist and business to their stores. Well, the Inn needs you all to patronize it too when the tourist aren’t here.

I want to know, is it necessary to publish when and if payments are made?

Tourist read our local paper and it very well could be harming future business to the Inn as well as future business to our merchants.

Maybe before we pass judgment we should take a long look at our own lives. We don’t know what it takes to run a business of this magnitude and I assure you the owner isn’t as bad a person as she is made out to be.

The employees, that are still there, are there by choice and believe in the Inn and its owner and we will survive.
