Real heroes died last week

Dear Editor:

Whitney Houston died last week. This was all over the news — day and night.
Some considered her a hero.

The flags in her hometown were flown half-mast in her honor. What an insult.
Justin Allen, 23; Brett Linley, 29; Matthew Weikert, 29; Justus Bartlett, 27; Dave Santos, 21; Jesse Reed, 26; Matthew Johnson, 21; Zachary Fisher, 24; Brandon King, 23; Christopher Goeke, 23 and Sheldon Tate, 27. All Marines that died last week for our freedom.

Where was the mention of these heroes.

Apparently we all have our own opinion of heroes...mine are real.
