Recent sentences by Magistrate Kermit Ambrose:

Patrick Nelson Drury, 38, of Oak Hill Road, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to a year in jail – six months of which were suspended – for petit larceny, second offense. He must pay $166 court fees and will be on two years probation after his release.

Courtney Natasha Kesecker, 18, of Susan Terrace, Berkeley Springs, was placed on six months probation and ordered to pay $191 court fees for possession of a controlled substance.

Donald Mitchell Athey, 20, of Paw Paw was ordered to pay $682 fine & fees for driving while his license was suspended and driving with no insurance.
Mason Luvel Wriston, 18, of McCoy Road, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $201 fine & fees for trespassing.

Jeffrey Lynn Hovermale, 43, of Highland Ridge Road, Berkeley Springs, was given a suspended sentence of 90 days in jail and placed on a year’s probation, plus $166 court fees, for possession of a controlled substance. He must also pay $176 fine & fees for speeding.

Chauncey Pond Brothers III, 54, of Old Dominion Drive, Manassas, Va. was ordered to pay $583 fine & fees for driving under the influence with minors in the vehicle.
