Morgan County man murdered in Virginia

Michael Shirley, 27, of Berkeley Springs was found dead by Frederick County, Virginia police in the 1300 block of Timber Ridge Road around 1 a.m. Sunday morning.

He was allegedly shot by Bradley Gregory, 27, of Winchester, Va.

Gregory has been charged with first degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Gregory is being held without bond at the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center in Winchester.

Police have not released any information about a motive for the murder.
