Recent sentences by Magistrate Kermit Ambrose:
Burglary and grand larceny cases against Nathan Dwayne Spielman, 32, of Wardensville were sent on to the January Grand Jury after Spielman waived preliminary hearings.
Wesley Todd Mowery, Jr., 26, of Greenway Drive, Berkeley Springs was sentenced to 90 days in jail – all but 30 days of which were suspended – for possession of marijuana. Mowery must also pay $166 court fees and will be on a year’s probation.
Julie Y. Mills of James Street, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $773 in fines, restitution & fees for three worthless checks.
Robert Dale Golden, 66, of Horntown, Va. was ordered to pay $461 fine & fees for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
