Kidwell appointed to Bath Town Council
The Town of Bath Council voted to appoint Vincent Kidwell to fill one of the two remaining seats during the Tuesday morning, September 20 meeting.
Kidwell, 34, is a town resident and single father of two preteen children. He works in the pest control industry in Winchester, Mayor Susan Webster said.
Kidwell appeared before the council at the September 6 meeting and expressed his desire to serve. Kidwell was sworn-in at a special meeting held September 21.
The position of town recorder is still unfilled. Webster said the council may appoint someone to fill the position or give the position to a current council member.
The recorder position has voting privileges and is paid $100 a month. Town Clerk Margie Allgyer has been handling the non-voting functions of the recorder during meetings.
