Recent sentences by Mag-istrate Kermit Ambrose:

Ark Perry Fox, Jr., 39, of Hedgesville was sentenced to a year in jail – all but two months of which was suspended — for domestic battery. He must pay $191 court fees and will be on two years probation.

Larry Edward Miller, Jr., 39, of Cherub Lane, Berkeley Springs, was given a suspended sentence of 30 days in jail and was ordered to work 180 hours of community service and pay $166 fees for possession of stolen property.

Timothy Roy Merrbach, Jr., 28, of North Lee Street, Cumberland, was given a suspended sentence of 10 days in jail and was ordered to work 60 hours of community service and pay $166 court fees for obstructing an officer.

Keith Wayne Harbaugh, Jr., 17, of Berkeley Springs was ordered to pay $241 fine & fees and ordered to work eight hours of community service for underage possession of tobacco.

Joseph Allan Mossburg, 40, of Musstter Road, Ijamsville, Md. was ordered to pay $216 fine & fees for possession of a controlled substance.
