Golfers finish second in triangular

Berkeley Springs hosted Jefferson and Keyser on Monday, August 23, at Cacapon State Park. Jefferson fired a 9-hole team total of 166 to beat Berkeley Springs (177) and Keyser (210)Dylan Beddow, the low medalist on the day, led the Indians with a 39. Zach Appel added a 43, while Josh Bragg and Zach Solomon fired 47 and 48, respectively.

Both Chris Payne and Jamie Richard shot 41 to lead Jefferson.

"We still have to get a little bit more consistent, but the kids are doing a pretty good job," said Berkeley Springs Coach Dale McCumbee.

The Indians, 17-4 on the year, will play at the Musselman Invitational at Locust Hills on September 2.
