Neil Taylor

1930-2010

Neil Taylor (age 79) passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at his residence in Laurel, Maryland. Mr. Taylor was born on August 4, 1930 in Paw Paw, West Virginia to Roland and Reta Taylor.

Mr. Taylor received his B.A. degree from West Virginia University and was honorably discharged after serving time in the Unites States Navy. Neil was active with the American Legion Post 60 of Laurel, Maryland and the Moose Lodge.

Mr. Taylor moved to Laurel in 1968 and worked for Citizens National Bank, retiring as Vice President in Charge of Mortgage Loans.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife of 48 years, Helen Taylor, two daughters; Reta Sponsky and Mary Lee and one son, Kirk Taylor. He is survived by his 5 grandchildren; Matthew Sponsky, Katherine Sponsky, Kevin Taylor, Taylor Lee and John Lee. Neil was preceded in death by his brother Roland Taylor.

Mr. Taylor was remembered by his family as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
