Roy D. Taylor

1943-2010

Roy Dennis Taylor, 67, of Berkeley Springs, died Friday, July 23, 2010 at his residence while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born January 29, 1943 in Princeton, he was the son of the late Ray Hardy and Alice Louise Dobbins Taylor.

He was a Princeton High School graduate and owned and operated R.T. Automotive in Gaithersburg, Md. He retired in 2005 and liked fishing, cooking, baking, gardening and canning.

He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1483, Berkeley Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jo Gardner Taylor, at home; one son, Brian Hud Taylor, Gaithersburg; three daughters, Michelle Fuller, Mt. Airy, Md., Yvette Sparks, Cape Coral, Fla. and Nicole Taylor, Gaithersburg; one sister, Betty Lou Bailey, Micanopy, Fla.; two brothers, Danny Ray Taylor, Madison, Va. and Butch Taylor, Cape Coral and five grandchildren, Justin, Cassidy and Morgan Fuller, all of Mt. Airy and Ashley and Blaise Sparks, both of Cape Coral.

Memorial services will be conducted at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 30 at the Molesworth Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Md. where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Friday. The Rev. Franklin Bishop will officiate. Interment will be private.
