Sheriff Vince Shambaugh reports the following calls, investigations and reports this past week:
July 18
Complaint in regards to tenant issues taken at Sheriff’s Office, advised of options.
Three vehicle crash on Valley Road/Broadway Street, property damage only.
Assisted WVSP with an unwanted person at 7-Eleven.
Noise complaint on Tolley Lane, unfounded.
Suspicious vehicle on Fairview Drive, unable to locate.
Assault complaint taken on Jasmine Court.
July 19
Report of a leaving the scene of an accident, led to the arrest of Nancy Fishel for DUI.
Vehicle hazard on Rt. 9 West, assisted DOH.
Welfare check on Briarwood Lane, all secure.
Domestic disturbance on Fairbee Road, spoke with both parties, all verbal.
July 20
Report of an intoxicated subject on Winchester Street, subject located and released to a responsible party.
Report of physical domestic disturbance on Highland Ridge Road, spoke with all parties involved, female subject left the premises.
Single vehicle crash on Highland Ridge Road/Rt. 13, property damage only.
Breaking and entering complaint taken on Fairbee Road.
July 21
Report of suspicious circumstances on Rt. 13, unfounded.
Welfare check on Harmison Lane, advised of options.
Verbal domestic disturbance on Mauzy Road, parties seperated.
July 22
Report of domestic disturbance taken at Sheriff’s Office, advised of options.
Emergency protection order served on Harmony Way.
Residential alarm on Breakeven Lane, unfounded.
Report of physical domestic disturbance on Union Street, victim refused to cooperate.
Destruction of property complaint taken on Vernon Street.
Complaint of eggs being thrown at vehicles on Fairview Drive, unfounded.
Larceny complaint taken on Rosewood Lane.
Larceny complaint taken at Sheriff’s Office.
July 23
Verbal domestic disturbance on Selena Way, spoke to all parties involved.
Assisted parole officer.
Vandalism complaint taken at Sheriff’s Office.
Two vehicle crash on Cacapon Road, property damage only.
Complaint of intimidating a state witness taken at the Sheriff’s Office.
July 24
Report of juveniles on train tracks in the area of Cherry Run, negative contact.
