BSHS cheer season starts Monday, Aug. 2

Berkeley Springs High School cheer season will commence on Monday, August 2, at 9 a.m. in the gym with tryouts for the varsity and junior varsity teams. There will be a warm-up and review session with tryouts following. All student athletes must have a current sports physical and have maintained a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Coaches are planning for a freshmen cheer team for school year 2010/11. During the football season, eighth grade students may participate on this team. Those tryouts will be held on Monday, August 9, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Again, a current sports physical and minimum 2.0 GPA are required.
