Wyoming metal detector

Funny thing. We were reading Trophy Hunt, a mystery novel by C. J. Box, a former reporter, and an odd line jumped out at us.

The hero, a Wyoming game warden, goes to the County Clerk’s Office to check some deeds. And he has to go through a metal detector.
