Ricky L. Wilson

1958-2010

Ricky Lee Wilson, 52, of Berkeley Springs, died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at his residence while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born February 18, 1958 in McConnellsburg, Pa., he was the son of Inez “Betty” Shade Miller, Shade Gap, Pa. and the late Sharon “Jake” Wilson.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he previously served as a church trustee.

He graduated from Southern Huntingdon County High School and Control Data Institute.

He was vice-president of Mels Business Systems and former manager of the Martinsburg office.

He was a former Moose member.

He liked hunting, fishing and working on his lawn and flower garden.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Sally Jane Paylor Wilson; two sons, Jacob Lee Wilson and Adam Christopher Wilson, both of Berkeley Springs; two sisters, Pam Lynch, McConnellsburg and Cheryl Kay Waters, Burnt Cabins, Pa.; two brothers, Doug Wilson, Shade Gap and Mike Wilson, McConnells-burg; step-father, Garry Miller, Shade Gap; one granddaughter, Chloe Leith Wilson and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held today Wednesday, July 21 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 49 S. Green Street, Berkeley Springs, with Rev. Andrew Cooney officiating. Private burial will be in Union Cemetery, McConnellburg.

The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 10-11 a.m.
