School personnel changes

The Morgan County School Board approved the following personnel actions at their July 6 meeting:

Lindsey Otto was employed as fifth grade teacher at Warm Springs Intermediate School.

Lisa Alderton was hired as a third grade teacher at the intermediate school.

Lisa Ambrose transferred from a position as second grade teacher at Widmyer Elementary to sixth grade teacher at Warm Springs Intermediate School.

Janet Schneider was assigned as remedial specialist for Warm Springs Intermediate School.

Lorie Faith was also approved as a remedial specialist for the intermediate school. Faith resigned as aide/autism mentor for Warm Springs Middle School.

McLaurin Dawson III was chosen as halftime counselor at Berkeley Springs High School.

Christina Sterck was named a long-term substitute biology and general science teacher at Berkeley Springs High School during a leave of absence.
Kim Mason was designated long-term substitute teacher for severe/profound handicapped students at Berkeley Springs High School until the vacancy is filled.

Jann Hewett was selected as half-time long-term substitute teacher for visually-impaired students until the vacancy is filled.

Karen Chaffee resigned as Berkeley Springs High School English teacher.

Extra duty/part-time
Janice Golden was employed as a mentor teacher for Widmyer Elementary.
Adriene Derby and Tammy Baker were chosen as adult basic education instructors on an as/if needed basis as determined by the Director of Secondary Education.

Coaches
Antony McKee, James “Mike” Burks and Michael Wilder were selected as assistant football coaches for Berkeley Springs High School.

Rocky Riffle was named head girls’ soccer coach for Berkeley Springs High School.

Carl Wise was designated assistant boys’ soccer coach for Berkeley Springs High School.
