Town of Bath Chief C.A. Pearrell reported these recent calls:
June 28
Responded to a lookout for a green Dodge pickup east bound towards Berkeley Springs from Great Cacapon. Subject vehicle reportedly ran fire truck off the road. Subject vehicle located and stopped at North Washington Street.
Responded to a telephone report to the station of a subject being threatened at the state park. Subject advised of options.
Served 10 arrest warrants on Greg Forney. Subject transported to Eastern Regional Jail by Sheriff’s Department.
Responded to a report of unwanted persons at 254 Harrison Avenue. Subjects were advised of options and were asked to leave.
Responded to a report of two homeless individuals at Sheetz. Subjects advised of options. Red Cross contacted. Subjects were transported to The Berkeley Springs Motel.
June 29
Responded to a report of an intoxicated person at the Morgan County Library. Subject was not intoxicated, just sleeping. Asked to move on.
June 30
Responded to a telephone call reporting someone calling for help in the vicinity of 267 Martinsburg Road. Located an elderly female who had fallen at her residence, 218 Ewing Street.
Responded to a report of a person having trouble breathing at the Berkeley Springs Motel. Subject transported to War Memorial Hospital by Morgan County EMS.
July 1
Responded to a report of a person sleeping in the park. Subject was asked to move on.
July 2
Responded to a call of a suspicious person at Wilkes Street. Contact made with subject, all secure.
Responded to a complaint of an unwanted person at Fruit Hill Lane. Subject told to leave the area and if he returns he will be charged with trespassing.
Responded to a two vehicle accident at Route 9 west and Wilkes Street. There were no injuries and minor damage, report taken.
Assisted a citizen with the proper installation of a child car seat.
July 6
Responded to a report of an illegal vehicle north bound on Washington Street. Negative contact.
Responded to a report of a possible Amber Alert subject at North Washington Street. Negative contact.
July 7
Vehicle lockout at East Congress Street.
Follow-up on an investigation of a night time burglary and grand larceny at Maria’s Garden. Two felony arrest warrants served on one adult female.
July 8
Vehicle accident at 101 South Washington Street. Assisted by West Virginia State Police.
