Ray E. Fearnow

1920-2010

Ray Elbert Fearnow, 90, of Martinsburg, and formerly of Berkeley Springs, died Sunday, July 4, 2010, at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, Md.
Born March 31, 1920 in Morgan County, he was the son of the late Jesse B. Fearnow and Virgie M. Batt Fearnow.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Rosalie Miller, Eltha Fearnow and Virginia Marie Clark and two brothers, Jesse B. Fearnow, Jr. and Fred Fearnow.

Surviving are his wife Beulah Manning Fearnow and several nieces and nephews.
He and his wife formerly owned and operated Riverside Grocery in Hancock and he was formerly employed by Berkeley Club Bottling Company.

He was of the Protestant faith.

Services will be held at the Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 36 S. Green Street, Berkeley Springs on Wednesday, July 7, at 1 p.m. Rev. Frank Pilcher will be officiating. Burial will be in Greenway Cemetery.
