Fred A. Bowers

Fred Allen Bowers, 54, of Martinsburg, formerly of Frederick, Md., died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick.
Born August 14, 1955 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Elwood Bowers and the late Betty Jane Lawrence Bowers Yeager.

He was of the Baptist faith.

He was a graduate of Frederick High School and attended Hagerstown Community College.

He had worked as a truck driver and a brick and block mason.

He is survived by one daughter, Christina Ann Bowers, Martinsburg; eight sisters, Kathryn Johnson, Lewistown, Md., Susan Koogle, Charles Town, Lisa Gray, Fairfield, Pa., Patricia Stockman, Frederick, Nancy Wilhide, Thurmont, Md., Doris Jacobs, Baltimore, Md., Barbara Yeager, Halltown and Betty Yeager, Charles Town; four brothers, Frankie Bowers and William Yeager, both of Martinsburg, Warren “Buzz” Bowers, Falling Waters and Wayne Bowers, Berkeley Springs and many nieces and nephews.
