Relay for Life at Widmyer

2010 Relay for Life will provide fun for everyone this weekend at Widmyer track in Berkeley Springs.

6 p.m. Thursday, June 10 survivor dinner at First Church contact Joanne Blankley 304-258-3601.

4 p.m. Friday, June 11 Event and team set up.

6 p.m. Team registration and luminaria sales.

7 p.m. Opening ceremonies.

7:10 p.m. Survivor lap followed by care giver lap.

8 p.m. Live auction.

9 p.m. Luminaria ceremony.

10 p.m. Committee recognition lap.

12 a.m. Midnight treat with coffee and sweets.

1-6 a.m. Variety of themed laps and contests.

Games will be held throughout the relay beginning at 7:35 p.m., such as; Do you have it?, frozen tee shirt contest, sack race, Price Is Right, cake walk, Minute to Win It, tug of war, egg toss, water balloon and others.
Live auction items will include, handmade quilt, porcelain dolls, first aid kits, homemade bench, Jeff Gordon (soda machine cover), child’s wooden rocking chair, Coleman tent with supplies.

All registered participates will have a chance to win various raffle prizes throughout the 12 hour event such as certificates to local restaurants, massages, movie tickets, curve memberships, basket of groceries, just to mention a few. One must be present to win.
