Lola V. Jamison

1913-2010

Lola V. Jamison, 96, of Paw Paw, died Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Berkeley Springs Rehab & Nursing Home.

She was born July 23, 1913 at Paw Paw, the daughter of the late Howard L. Crouse and Minnie McIntyre Crouse.

She was co-owner of Woodrow Grocery.

She was a member of Woodrow Union Christian Church, where she served as choir director for over 25 years, and was a member of the ladies auxiliary.
She liked traveling.

On August 23, 1932, she married Oliver “Duck” Jamison, who preceded her in death on November 25, 1983.

She is survived by one son, Eugene W. Jamison, Paw Paw; one sister, Margaret Bohrer, Cumberland, Md.; one brother, Marshall Crouse, Paw Paw; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Wendell Jamison.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 5 at the Woodrow Union Christian Church at Paw Paw with Pastor Ken DeHaven officiating.

Burial was at Woodrow Cemetery.

Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw handled the arrangements.
