It’s National Hospital Week

This week, May 9-15, War Memorial Hospital joins the more than 5,800 hospitals across the nation in celebrating National Hospital Week. The theme for this year is “Celebrating Health, Hope & Healing.”

From treating unexpected injuries to providing care and comfort during illness, hospitals are a vital part of growing communities. A hospital is more than a place where people go when they are sick. It is a part of the community that promotes health and represents hope.

As your local hospital, we are preparing to begin construction of a replacement facility in June. In that building, for many years to come, we desire a strengthened partnership with you where hope is shared and the highest quality health care is provided.

During National Hospital Week, join me in recognizing our 165 full-and part-time employees for their skills, depth of their caring, and willingness and dedication as they are trusted to bring “health, hope and healing” every day to those we serve.
