Ambulance fee ripoff

I want to pass on some information that I feel is very important to Morgan County residents. I know we have a fire fee, then along came the ambulance fee. The ambulance fee is a $75 ripoff in my opinion.

I was in Winchester Hospital, needed a transport to Berkeley Springs Rehab and remembered our “fee.” The hospital called them. They will transport for another fee, including mileage fee. They do emergency only. Who defines emergency?

This is like so many other things being done not to benefit the Seniors in any way, or even the county.

I asked, “What if I don’t pay the ambulance fee? They would put a lien on my place and before I could sell it, they would get paid their money, plus fees and interest.

Morgan County, let’s get that ambulance fee taken away or at least get something for our money.
