Memorial Day Parade at Paw Paw

Paw Paw Memorial Day Car Show, Ceremony and Parade, Saturday, May 29, will be jam packed with activities in Paw Paw.

The car show will begin at 9 a.m. at the Paw Paw festival grounds on Route 9 near the Potomac River.

The Memorial Day Ceremony at the Paw Paw Monument will begin at 11 a.m. followed by the annual William H. Norton Memorial Day Parade at 1 p.m.
The line-up for the parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Paw Paw festival grounds.

The parade committee has decided that in lieu of trophies, cash prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place winners in eight different categories. Car show participants will compete for Top 30 trophies for pre 1980 vehicles and Top 10 trophies for 1980 and newer vehicles as well as a longest distance award and a veteran’s choice award.
