Recent sentences by Magistrate Greg Miller:
Brian Keith Ailor, 28, of Susan Terrace, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to 90 days of home confinement and ordered to pay $290 fine & court fees for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Christopher Lee Gill, 23, of Winchester Grade Road, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to 90 days in jail – all but four days of which were suspended – for fleeing from an officer and driving while his license was suspended. He must also pay $529 fines & fees and will be on a year’s probation.

Jamie Dawn Riley, 31, of Massie Lane, Stephens City, Va., was given a suspended sentence of 90 days in jail and was instead ordered to work 180 hours of community service for reckless driving and obstructing an officer. Riley must also pay $529 fine & fees and was placed on a year’s probation.
John Raymond Hensley, Jr., 28, of Poole Road, Hedgesville, was placed on six months probation and ordered to pay $165 fees for possession of a controlled substance.

Matthew Ryan Whetstone, 21, of Brand Road, Cresaptown, Md. was placed on six months probation and ordered to pay $165 fees for possession of a controlled substance.

Laurie Ann Graham, 41, of Mockingbird Hill Lane, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $535 fine & fees for having no motor vehicle insurance and no proof of insurance.

Rodger Lee Bachtell, 29, of Valley Road, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $175 fine & fees for improper trash disposal.

Recent sentences by Magistrate Kermit Ambrose:
Rickie Lee Perry, 53, of Locust Ridge Road, Hedgesville, was given a suspended sentence of 90 days in jail and was placed on a year’s probation for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages and possession of a controlled substance. He must also pay $674 in fines & court fees.

Shawn Keith Bonney, 34, of Jasmine Lane, Martinsburg, was given a suspended sentence of 30 days in jail and placed on a year’s probation for domestic battery. He must also pay $190 fees and attend counseling.

Brent Getty Thomas 19, of Goodward Road, Richmond, Va. was placed on a year’s probation and ordered to pay $429 fines & fees for possession of a controlled substance and speeding.

Steven Lee Willhide, Jr., 19, of Long View Drive, Berkeley Springs, was placed on six months probation and ordered to pay $190 court fees for possession of a controlled substance.

Lana Clark, 55, of Swallow Court, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $980 fine, fees & restitution for four worthless checks.

Sean Robin Simmons, 18, of Homewood Parkway, Kensington, Md. was ordered to pay $342 fine & fees for underage drinking.
