Community volunteers honored

The 27th annual Community Volunteer Day held recently at the Country Inn brought the number of Morgan Countians honored to more than 700. This year, 35 groups honored 37 individuals. For the first time, one person -- Ike Bohrer -- was honored by three different groups "Life in Morgan County would grind to a halt in a matter of minutes if all these folks, and others like them, stopped volunteering," said emcee Jeanne Mozier.

The event is produced each year by the Berkeley Springs-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce.
