It’s time to really help
This week’s front page article about Meal Time Community Kitchen should help to draw attention to the local impact of the national (and international) recession.
The number of meals served by the Starting Points program increased to more than 16,000 last year. More people – folks who never asked for help before — are coming to the Community Kitchen, Starting Points and other agencies that offer help.
Those who can donate to the Meal Time Community Kitchen now will really make a difference. The Feinstein Foundation will match any donation made to the kitchen from now through the end of April, so your dollars can be doubled.
For more information about the Community Kitchen and how to donate, check out the article in this week’s Morgan Messenger.
