When to be concerned
Dear Editor:
In response to the letter “All terrorists aren’t Muslim,” I believe that to be a fair statement and one I have heard repeated many times. I have said as much myself.
However, it is sorrowful the writer doesn’t know the difference between what happened in Texas and the other “eerily familiarity.” Both are great tragedies and there is a difference.
It is that lack of understanding, in some situations, that causes some people to think you can blow up abortion clinics to stop the killing of babies.
As far as all religions having problems, I think it is better defined that people in these religions have issues, when getting out of the scope of the message of said religion. But when the religion advocates violence towards others because of religious beliefs, then, yes, people have reason to be concerned.
