A kind spirit

Dear Editor:

It was with great sadness that we learned about the death of a friend who had a gentle and kind spirit, who was quick to smile and throw up his hand with a friendly wave. We will greatly miss the visits he graced upon us, sharing a story or a memory that made us smile and lifted our day.

We were fortunate to have this person remove the snow from our sidewalks with care and diligence a job extremely well done. This delightful friend was known far and wide throughout our community and will be sorely missed.

Steve Crouse touched so many of our lives and left a wonderful footprint behind as he walked through Berkeley Springs.
