Mae E. Myers
1932-2007
Mae Elizabeth Myers, 75, of Berkeley Springs, died on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born January 31, 1932 in Jersey City, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Mary E. Hendry Olsen.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She attended public schools in Jersey City.
She had worked with Watkins & Johnson Electronics in Gaithersburg, Md., and as a sales clerk at Fannie Farmer Candies in the Fredericktowne Mall, Frederick, Md.
She liked cooking and watching soap operas.
She is survived by one daughter, Ella G. Painter, Berkeley Springs; two granddaughters, Laurie A. Birkner and Sherry Lynn Swindle, both of Berkeley Springs; two great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin John Myers, Jr., on June 20, 2006 and two brothers, Louis Olsen, Jr. and Walter Olsen.
Service and interment private.
The Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs, handled the arrangements.
