Norman H. Robertson, Jr.

1921-2007

Norman Hugh Robertson, Jr., 86, of Berkeley Springs, died on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at the Winchester Medical Center.

Born May 29, 1921, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late Norman H. Robertson, Sr. and Nellie Stanley.

He was retired from the US Soil Conservation in Berkeley Springs after 33 years of service. After his retirement, he was a substitute teacher in the Morgan and Berkeley County School systems. He also held various other jobs after his retirement.

He was a member of the Francis Asbury United Methodist Church where he was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Trustees.

He was a member of the Lions Club for over 50 years.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Dillard Robertson; three sons, Dennis H. Robertson, Columbus, Ohio, Glenn Robertson, Tuscaloosa, Ala. and Gary Robertson, Inwood; one daughter, Bonita Gilhart, Jone Spring; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Walt Stanley.

Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, November 14, at 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Wright officiating. Entombment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
