Brenda J. Stotler

1945-2007

Brenda Joyce Stotler, 64, Berkeley Springs, died November 4, 2007, at home under the care of Hospice.

She was born in Hancock on August 18, 1945, daughter of the late Melvin Ellsworth Gladhill and Margrete Mary Bell Gladhill.

She was employed as a nurse at War Memorial Hospital for about five years. She worked for Londontown for 24 years until she retired as seamstress.

She graduated from Hagerstown Business College as a paralegal.

Surviving are her husband, Ward Robert Stotler, Sr., Berkeley Springs, who she married in 1961; one daughter, Laura Kay Breeden, Berkeley Springs; four sons, Jeffrey Scott Stotler, Martinsburg, Ward Robert Stotler, Jr., Richard Travis Stotler and Marshall Todd Stotler, all of Berkeley Springs; three sisters, Marylyn Breakall and Janet W. Shupp, both of Hancock and Mary Margret Baldasano of Nevada; eight grandchildren, Charity Sullivan, Tera Stotler, Brian Francis, Nadine Stotler, Breanna Stotler, Brooke Stotler, Clare Stotler and Marrissa Stotler; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Melvin O. Gladhill.

Viewing will be at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 36 South Green Street, Berkeley Springs Wednesday and Thursday, November 7 and 8, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral home will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Services will be at the funeral home, Friday, November 9 at 1 p.m. Burial at Mt. Pleasant U.M. Church Cemetery.
