David D. Kendall, Jr.

1939-2007

David Durell Kendall, Jr., 68, of Hagerstown, Md., died Monday, October 15, 2007, at Washington County Hospital.

Born March 29, 1939, in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of the late David D. and Lucille Abercrombie Kendall.

He was the owner and operated of D.D. Kendall Co., working in the Washington metropolitan area as a brick mason for the past 45 years.

He was a member of the American Trap Shooting Association, American Legion Post 561 of McConnellsburg, Pa., and the VFW of McConnellsburg.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Jenkins Kendall, Orlando, Fla.; one daughter, Megan L. Kendall, Orlando; five sons, David D. Kendall,III, Berkeley Springs, Wayne S. Kendall and Dale A. Kendall, both of Hagerstown, Joseph A. Kendall, Falling Waters, and William M. Kendall, Orlando; three sisters, Sharon K. Moore, Singapore, Andrea K. Berkstresser, McConnellsburg and Victoria K. Mishler, Massillon, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, W. Dale Kendall, Dennis A. Kendall and Neil S. Kendall.

Services were Sunday, October 21. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in McConnellsburg. Burial was in Union Cemetery.
