Robert R. Michael

1943-2007

Robert Richard Michael, 64, Of Martinsburg, W.Va., died Friday, October 12, 2007, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg.

Born March 27, 1943, in Warfordsburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Merle and Hazel Michael.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Velma Michael.

He operated Mike's Used Cars and Auto Repairs.

He served in the U.S. Army. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Marksman badge.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Sleepy Creek, W.Va.

He is survived by one son, Robert R. Michael, Jr., Amelia, Va.; one sister, Catherine Reeder, Martinsburg; two brothers, Marshall Michael and George Michael, both of Berkeley Springs; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death

by two sisters, Emma

E. Michael and Naomi V. Hinckle.

Services were held Tues-

day, October 16 at Rosedale Funeral Home, Martins-

burg. The Rev. David E. Byers officiated. Burial was in Rosedale Cemetery, Martins-burg, with military grave-

side services by the Martins-

burg Combined Honor

Guard.
