Katherine L. Miller

1923-2007

Katherine Louise "Kitty" Miller, 84, of Hagerstown, Md., died Saturday, October 6, 2007, at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro.

Born February 5, 1923, in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Dorsey and Mary Peck Kerns.

She retired from Fairchild as an aircraft assembler.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gerald E. Miller; four daughters, Donna Steiner, Anna Holland and Sandy Duffey, all of Hagerstown, and Linda Kline, Boonsboro; two sons, Dale Roberts, Cumberland, Md., and William Roberts, Hagerstown; five sisters, Faye Moats and Jeannette Hull, both of Hancock, Phyllis Batt, Hagerstown, Velma Keller, Greencastle, Pa., and Edna True, Delaware; three brothers, Cletus Kerns, Hancock, Alston Kerns, of Illinois and Dwight Kerns, Greencastle; seven grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ada Kerns and Violet Messner, and three brothers, Harry Kerns, Melvin Kerns and Robert Kerns.

Services will be today, Wednesday, October 10 at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown. The Rev. Mark C. Mooney will officiate. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
