Billy R. DeVaney

Billy Ray DeVaney, 63, of Paw Paw, died Tuesday, October 4, 2007 in the Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney.

Born on November 2, 1943 in Wharton, he was the son of the late Roscoe James and Asbie Marie Hensley DeVaney.

He was a painter.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Perry DeVaney; one daughter, Sandra DeVaney, Ellicott City, Md.; two sons, Roscoe DeVaney and David DeVaney, both of Westminister, Md.; six sisters, Della DeVaney, Westminister, Ethel White, Slanesville, Erma Dupont, Titusville, Fla., Peggy Randall, Anna Hunt, both of Pennsville, N.J., Cathy Chalk, Littletown, Pa.; three brothers, James DeVaney, Woodbine, Md., Edward DeVaney, Uniontown, Md., Timothy DeVaney, Ellicott City, Md.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 6 in the McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, with Chris Straley officiating.
