Dwight E. Estes

1952-2007

Dwight Eisenhower "Ike" Estes, 54, of Martinsburg, died Friday, September 28, 2007, at his home.

Born October 1, 1952, in Bethesda, Md., he was the son of the late Everett Virgil Estes, Sr. and Olive Virginia Rines Estes.

He was employed as a painter by the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.

He is survived by one daughter, Tracy L. Armentrout, Martinsburg; one son, David E. Estes, Martinsburg; two sisters, Carolyn Oakes, Walkersville, Md. and Gail E. McDonald, Martinsburg; four brothers, James W. Estes, Alabama, Douglas M. Estes, Martinsburg, William D. Estes, Frederick, Md., and Bradley S. Estes, Sr., Berkeley Springs; one grandchild and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara A. Miss and Charlotte Louis; two brothers, Roy E. Estes and Everett V. Estes, Jr. and one nephew.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, October 2 at Darnestown Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
